Ok. I have a 2007 yukon denali so I am 99% sure I have the luxury bose system. I have the LOC in the picture. I have read that on the deluxe bose I can splice rca cables straight off the head unit wires. I have also read I can add a LOC on the output side of the factory amp on the 4 wires going to the factory sub, but the amp will lower the sub volume due to some anti clipping protection. But, I have not found where to tap for a single monoblock amp on the luxury system. My amp will not accept speaker level inputs. Rca is a must. Can anyone please tell me a simple working way to add sub amp to the LUXURY system?

I also get mixed reviews if this works. So far 50% of the reviews say it doesn't work on a 2007 yukon denali with y91 code bose. If this is the only way, I'm willing to try it

Ok. Did alittle testing today. The LOC does work on the y91 lux bose system. It was honestly very easy to set up the amp and converter with this car as well. Tap into the 4 wires going to your factory sub from the amp. Run the 12 volt and ground (I ran a temporary Cable from battery) and run the LOC remote wire to your amp. Set the gain on the LOC first. I took it up to the point the factory amp started retarding the bass and took it back just a tiny bit. Then set your gain on your amp. Very easy and works flawlessly. Once again this is the tier 3 amp found in the escalade and denali. Chimes are completely unaffected.

Playing around abit more today and I found what seems to be a working keyed 12v supply in the console. I don't have pictures but I can upload them if anyone wants them. There is a purple negative wire on the top right of the biggest harness under the cup holders. And there is a pink 'keyed' 12v+ on the lower left of the harness. This is where I tapped my LOC and so far, I have had no issues whatsoever. Hope this helps people

Thanks for testing this! I have an '07 Denali that I am going to put subs in and I'm debating on using an LOC or just swapping out to an aftermarket radio. Either way, this will come in handy.

If you need any help, let me know. I kept the factory because it had nav and I wanted to keep all my chimes, turn signals, and rear seat entertainment. Surround sound is much better now!

Pretty easy stuff once you read they the threads and watch the YouTube videos. I did a boss bypass in my 2011 Denali. Added a 5 channel amp, loc, 2 sets of 6.5"components and still using Bose center sub and rear c pillar speakers( those powered by factory Bose) and the system sounds like a beast! Still have nav and factory headunit. All Bose premium being a Denali.
