I just picked up a 04 Yukon a few days ago. It's got the XM tuner built into the stock headunit... so it would make sense that I could call Sirius up and have them activate my stereo, right?

How do I get the ESN off the stock headunit so Sirius can activate it?

in the past XM's 90 free trial was first, 6th and 9th month free with 1 year contract with purchase of a certified GM vehicle. Not sure if that is still the case.

I tried to do the refresh option tonight after I got my XM ID off the truck, but the website threw an error and said I had to call in. :dunno:

I called in today and spoke with customer support. I got the 3 month trial and they allowed me to complete the trial setup without providing a credit card number. They said once I called back in and supplied the CC #, I'd get an additional free month of service.

Looks like I'll be activating my radio tonight! :D

I didn't really have to say anything necessarily, she asked for the CC # or said I could choose to defer until a later time. What I said was I was @ work and didn't care to disclose the # over the phone at that time.
