haha youre getting closer to looking like my hoe.

dont take the slt logo off i tried and its too hard, the adhesive also pulls the paint off with it!
Lol they do look a lot a like now, Im working on getting some rims for a graduation present maybe =) lol. I know this sounds stupid, but did the SLT come on both sides? Cause mine just has the right side.
hah taking pics at the gas station...I do the same thing as my projects always run into night time and the gas station is the only place near by thats well lit enough to check my progress :D
Lol exactly! And plus I like an excuse to go bumpin

Did mine the other day... it was a BASTARD because the dude before me decided to put those chrome kick panels allll the way around which means 6 inches more adhesive. I started by just warming it a bit and ripping it all off, then hit it with a pressure washer to remove the bulk of the tape..then M.E.K. (methyl ethyl ketone) to remove the residue and it worked great!

You all should be listening to these people trying to give you good advise, Do NOT do this without using a 3M wheel. DO NOT take off LT/LS/SLT badges unless your ready to paint that part of your truck. DO NOT use Goof up or **** up or whatever, your just asking for it to mess up your clear coat.

When I did mine I used a heat gun to get the molding off. Then we used gasoline and a plastic ravor. It worked great. Got the whole truck done in about an hour with the help of a friend.

The friend who helped me owns a detailing shop and uses gasoline on a regular basis.

I tried a brand new eraser wheels and got a bit to aggressive with it and left a few marks in the paint/ clear.

Good luck,
Nick

Well other than the gay ass bubble problem, I like the look. At least its not completely noticable, but still a problem. Anyway I got the whole thing done today.

yeah I'd take the chrome molding off, or if your truck is like mine and sand or dirt has rubbed the paint off underneith, you can paint them white.

Here's one I found online that I'm basing my 2-Door off of... It's Siiick! With the color-matched doors and mirrors with no molding.. SO clean.

Just take your time and don't apply too much pressure or stay in the same spot too long.
