i think i was another 10 minutes from your version of the consequences of ignoring a squeaky alternator.

i like my 480 3ph sparks or tripping the mains on a power pole with my body and cutting power to 4 houses. well my body and a dryer.... was enough to throw me hard enough into a wall and break the thin wood paneling.
