FWIW....I've been running the BT drop struts for a couple of years now. Overall they are fine but now that they have about 30-35k miles on them I can tell that they are already nearing the point of needing to be replaced. When I get to that point I'm going to redo my front end and go with a 2" drop spindle and a stock strut (probably a Monroe Sensa-Trac). I've just found that for a longevity stand point that is probably a better route to go. IMO a good shock/strut should last 80-100k miles.
