Hey guys, 2016 Yukon Denali 4wd with squeaky suspension. Seems like it may be coming from rear body mounts and tortion grommets. Have sprayed every rubber mount back there with no luck. It has new shocks and struts last year. Anyone having the same issues or thought. Thanks

"Have sprayed every rubber mount back there with no luck" Can you explain in greater detail what you mean by sprayed? For example, on the rear sway bar, how did you spray the bushings that attach the sway bar to the truck's frame?

Just sprayed all bushings and grommets with a silicone lube, including body mounts, sway bar bushings and tortion bar rubber. Car has always been garaged since new.

what brand of struts/shocks did you install and have you inspected them for premature failure?

OK. Understood.

For the sway bar bushings, did you first loosen/remove the metal clamp holding the sway bar and bushing, so that you could open up the bushing and actually spray the lube into the contact area between the bushing and the sway bar?

No sir. I didn’t. Is it normal for these to squeak like an old truck?

No sir. I didn’t. Not sure which ones are giving the trouble. There is a ton of mounts, bushing and grommets.

Those sway bar bushings are a common 'squeak' point on these suspensions, so that is why I asked how you lubed them. The only way to properly lube those bushings is to loosen/remove the metal clamp and stuff some lube inside the bushing itself, where it contacts the sway bar.

Just curious @Tiger country ... did you resolve this issue? I have a 2017 Tahoe... 72k miles... The creak on the rear driver side is driving me nuts. I just sprayed every bushing I could see with AT-205... will give it 24 hours but wondered if I perhaps missed something. Searches led me here as what you describe seems exacly the same issue I'm having.
