Signature Sizes.

Recently we have noticed that allot of our members have been using a regular picture as their Sig picture. We love for everyone to have Sigs since that's how most of us know who's posting but using a full size picture takes up allot of the screen. We have set some limits on the size of a picture you can have so we can cut down on the size of them. The new size limit is 600x200 pixels with a maximum file size of 97.7kb. So if you guys that are using full size pictures could change them to the new sizes it would be greatly appreciated.

for sigs, it will upload 600x200

Some sigs were created before the enforcement went in, so when the users with big sigs try to recreate theirs, they will be forced down to the new size requirements.

i ahve been on here since Dec and still havent figured out how to fix mine there no hope!!!!! i cant stand it...i can photoshop, use cads to design the collest shit but CANT upload a normal sized signature....

got it use picnik and make it 551X200 and it'll work!

415x277 for my sig ........... gets rid of the yellow banner along the top of all the sigs in this thread.

I tried changing my sig size, to the larger allowable size. Came out to 349x199,
47.7kb. BUt, now it appears ahelluvalot smaller than the 178x99, 16.9kb .
wtf?

Upload it to Photo Bucket and do it that way.

Yea signature set up here annoying as hell.

Got SIG set, noticed misspelling so fixed, sent same photo as original with fixed spelling to photo bucket, copy\pasted photo URL (just like did the first time that worked) & just shows black screen. After hour or so said fug it.

What size picture are you trying to use? There is still limits on sizing and such for good reason.

Size was fine. Picture worked once as set SIG, I simply deleted an extra letter in wording & tried to put back up & simply blacks out. No biggie, just used fluff picture instead (ironicly bigger in all aspects than one that fails lmfao).

Just shut signatures off if you don't want to see them

Couldn't the admins just run a script on all the signature pics (I'm going to guess they're all in one directory on the server) to resize them?

Not really as it would have to recognize the picture then resize everything. Easier to just have a size limit.

Nah it still won't even retake the original again that I had used with the mistake. After trying picture after picture & not working it finally accepted the dancing gif. Which is funny because the gif using file,as well as dimensions, are bigger than the photos that don't work lol. Just finicky I guess, no biggie.
