Did a fair amount of driving in the rain/snow/ice over the Christmas weekend here in the PNW. As I look over my Yukon I noticed on both sides the amber side marker lights are getting dirt stuck behind the lens around the perimeter.

Anybody else notice this? I’m a bit of a detail freak and these kind of things once I see them, I’ll always notice it. Our rig only has 1K miles on it. They were clean when I took delivery.

I haven't noticed that I my vehicle, however I did have mine tinted over as I did not like the big bright orange marker.

I have not notice the details on marker light. In this pic all I focus on is the mud on the area above the tires...Mud guard is a good choice.

Here’s a close-up. Happening on the RH side as well.

Easy to remove if you are that a*nal and want to clean. Take the two torx screws out of the inner liner, one above the one below where the light is. Peel back the liner for access. Then press in on the tabs of the white retaining clips and slide them out. I just replaced mine with black smoked ones so it won’t show any dirt.

I’ve noticed this too. When washing the vehicle you can see water moving dirt around behind them
