Well guys, I have split feelings as I write this post this morning. I truly enjoyed the time I had in the RST. Smiles per gallon were an everytime occurance with the 6.2. My 2020 had reached 107k miles, (I feel you thinking about this already), BUT, I had zero warranty after 100K and it had developed an oil pan leak and the trans was sure to give up in the next few months. If I were 30 years younger with the time to tackle the issues, I would have kept it. Or if I had been able to purchase this from my regular dealer, it would have had a lifetime powertrain warranty which would have covered both.

So......I am now enjoying my trips in a 2021 XT6 Sport edition. Loaded with many toys and soon to have a slight HP increase via tune. Probably OTC box version for around $100 unless someone changes my mind. I will still be active here and will be offering a few K2xx items for sale in a few days.

If your worried about having a warranty then reconsider tuning your new ride. First thing GM does on warranty is download your ECU.

I’m not worried about the warranty or GM. I’m friends with the service manager and I purchased their version of extended warranty that is not GM. It has been totally fine on the vehicles I have purchased there already.

Man, you guys need to buy an XT6 and start modding and posting. The Cadillac forum is light years behind what I’m use to having for support here!

Yeaaaaa…while many people certainly do mod them, i think a LARGE percentage of caddy buyers just purchase them, drive them for a little bit in stock form, then sell em for the new model.

You didn't see @petethepug over there?

My Father-In-Law purchased a 2nd gen SRX, smaller version of yours, and it has a K&N filter and red calipers. Apparently, for a time, they were quite popular to hot rod and race them, picking up 40 horsepower with an E85 tune. Fun little car with 308 horses.

So how are you liking the Cadillac so far?

I liked fine for about 3 weeks, then went back to a 21 High Country

Check out ChiefM build thread. An 07 Esky ESV, 10 SRX & 12 SRX Luxury. He recently got rid of his 07 Esky Executive Limo for the 10 SRX.

Mods let him post all the SRX stuff in the Esky forum. Mini Cooper & Maserati content too.

I just sold a 2016 3.6 SRX premium loaded with huge sunroof, cue, side alert, 106k, clean title no accident, perfect car fax, Texas car, no sun damage, crystal clear headlights, no dents/scratches, clean grey interior 10/10 and new Michelins tires last week. I paid $6500 for it. I got a wholesale dealers license and get excellent deals on vehicles. Let me know and I can get you what you’re looking for. I also give a 400 miles 20 day warranty return that you pay $250 for the insurance. I sell trailers, boats, motor homes and cars. I started doing this 1 1/2 years ago. I am bonded and insured. I have sold over 20 trailers, 4 boats, over 100 cars and 4 RV’s since 7/2023. I have repeats and high recommendations.

What part of the country are you in? Sometime in the next couple of years we'll be in the market for a clean Volvo XC90.

I am in Houston TX. I just sold a Volvo black xc60 2015 clean like the SRX. Black with tan interior. The tan steering wheel looked new. It had the adaptive headlights. I paid $3700 for it with 120k. I see great deals on the XC90 all the time. What I do to trustworthy people is purchase the vehicle for my client with no money. If you don’t like it for whatever reason you can say no and I can sell to someone else. You can pay $200 for 400 mile 20 day return if you want too.
