Auto Parallel park

So I used this once just to check it out on my 2026 Tahoe, it parked the truck well and got it a few inches off the curb. Was nervous and had my foot ready to stomp the brake if the truck did anything funky.

Has anyone had a problem using this feature? I have to parallel park a few times a week and would be nice to use the auto feature routinely(makes it real easy and fast), however I'm not sure how well the cameras and software are for low curbs, various objects, and low hanging trees.

Has anyone had issues where the system made an error and either curbed a wheel, hit something, etc????

It also has the feature to exit the spot automatically, I used that when the road was clear but also not sure how it does with traffic and people walking around.

You shluld be able to trust it but still pay attention. But when you're having to parallel park a few times a week you should be able to become a pro at doing it yourself pretty quickly.

I can this b@tch like a smart car
albiet I am tall and I can lean up and see where my tires are without having to adjust my mirrors or having to enable reverse tilt
you learn that backing into a spot whenever possible is also the best way to go every time, when driving out you have a clear view and your front wheels are the pivot point

I’ve owed my 2015 Tahoe for 5 years and I could parallel park it just fine, this isn’t a driver issue.

It’s a feature in the 2026 that I found is useful and makes life easier.

Even if you parallel park it manually the 360
Camera kinda makes it idiot proof….

Why use super cruise when you can drive? Because I can and it’s convenient.

Why use indoor plumbing when you have an outhouse?

Running an 04! I'm glad to have folding mirrors!! My auto park is me waking up the next day to see no dents or scratches. I made it home!!!!
