I added some of the led strips under the hood and wired them to the stock light which has a gravity switch so they turn on automatically when I open the hood. All wiring was soldered; heat shrink also. I used a deutsch waterproof connector to hook to the stock light so it can still be removed easily. These really light up the engine bay, and nice and even!

Now I can't find the lens for the stock light. I ordered a new led festoon bulb for it since the old one doesn't work. Might have to make a new lens if it doesn't turn up, I'm not paying $20 for a new light dammit!

I'll keep an eye out for a lens if I come across one at the yard I go to.

Nice idea! Im on amazom about to order that hood light, bc the nnbs has no underhood lighting!

Sweet. It mounts by snapping into 2 rectangle holes. Let me know if you need the dimensions of them and I'll make a diagram.

Ive seen other nnbs snap it in the place of the underhood insulation

I need to do research on a LSA blower. I think that's the inexpensive way to add a blower anyway. I don't want to spend $5-6,000.

I'm not a fan of the painted engine covers though. Now a bad-ass supercharger, that's a nice compliment to the engine bay! Then I could do some braided stainless steel hoses as a compliment to the blower.
