I’m still waiting on the under cabinet lights for over the workbench and one set of tracks but other than that it’s done.

Need some LED lighting under those cabinets...

Working on that!

Yep I’m on it. I’m making custom length connecting cables. These led strips are awesome, and only like $35 for 6 including all sorts of wiring and connectors, switches etc. I’m eliminating the inline switch since I installed a switched receptacle for this purpose and putting 4 of these under the cabinet. I installed 2 and want more lol.

FYI I’m probably going to send those lights back. They’re not bright enough for me. I put 4 of them under and there’s still a shadow line from the ceiling mounted light. I tried holding another one under there and it doesn’t help. They were advertised as 2200 lumens, 22 watts but the instructions (in Chinenglish) say the maximum number of connection is 22w 8 tubes so I’m left to assume they’re less than 3 watts each. Anyway I ordered some that are commercial and say they’re 4500 lumens for each fixture. I’ll report back when I get them. With my main lighting off they’re not that bad but when I turn the main lights on you can see they’re lacking.

Post a link to the new ones you ordered when you get a chance. I'd like to check them out as well.

Man it’s nice af to be able to organize my stuff, have space for it all and then just slide the doors shut and it all disappears and everything looks clean. I cut some of the plastic coated mdf and used it for shelf liner in areas that might get fluids spilled on them since it wipes off so easily. Now I’m considering building something for where the wire shelves I bought are now, or roll the steel cabinet down and build at the left of the workbench.

Here’s a couple disgusting before shots, I can’t believe it took me this long to tear that shit out and start over. I’m sure that in 1960 when it was built, it was fine lol. It’s the last room in this house I didn’t remodel. It was time.

Hell yeeah !! What a difference!

Hey, on a different note.. you used those Lasfit bulbs for fogs I think on one of your rides..? I installed them in the fogs on the Yukon, and I’ve already got one out. Like 2 weeks old. Have you had any issues?
