So I have (2) 2003 Tahoes (5.3L) and if either of them have the battery disconnected or the battery is run down the idle relearn HAS TO BE PERFORMED and then idle quality is crap after the relearn until driven atleast 50 miles or so.
On my 2005 Yukon Denali 6.0L if the battery is disconnected or is drained the idle is perfect upon reconnecting or charging the battery. No relearn needed.
Does the 2005 have some magical relearn memory in the 05 model year PCM or possibly the 03 vehicles of mine just have worn out throttle bodies or ??????
