I like the cross rails matched. Gives it a nice little touch over the work factory metal look. Lol
Color matched would look awesome. Just prep the cross rails like any other paint step. If you stay black I would suggest using a flat clear to avoid the glossy look. Flat clear shouldn't be polished , cause it will give it the glossy look.

Ok, hope you don’t mind Chase, but I consider you the detail expert here.. when I’m detailing my Yukon, I’ve been using Chemical Guys VRT on the trim around the rear glass as well, but I’m not sure it’s the best product for that. My cross rails are color matched to my truck. They do look awesome haha

VRP is good stuff. I use it on all my clients cars. Personally though I like the trim+tire gel that CG makes. It’s a little bit tougher and penetrates the plastic a little more to give it a deeper black look. Comes in the same 16oz bottle that the VRP does.

Awesome.. I knew there was a better way. [emoji106][emoji16] And, thanks for helping me spend another $15 too. Lol.
