Rear seat question

My 2000 NBS yukon did not come with a rear seat.
If I obtain a rear seat can it be added easily? Are the mounting holes already there and I'll just have to cut the carpet area back?

Yes it is easy to add it. The mounting holes are already there. I added the rear seat to mine, was very easy. Hardest part is cutting the carpet. You can get medical / penny sheers off amazon. They cut the carpet with ease.

Look at gm parts direct. Change model years and look at brackets / seats.

Yes! All done.

Like i said, we got a split bench in really good condition from the local scrap yard. Picked that up as well as all the brackets, bolts, and plastic trim pieces.
It was very straight forward. There were metal covers with a caulk adhesive over them covering the bolt holes in my truck.

So, just had to take some trim pieces off and pull the carpet and padding back. Used a hammer and screwdriver and pried all those metal tabs out. The bolt holes are just hex nuts welded onto the bottom of the floor pan. I put a metal pipe cleaner on my drill and really cleaned out the threads in the nuts before putting the bolts in. They all went in with my drill.
Put all brackets in, cut holes in padding and carpet, and it all fits like a glove!
Looks 100% factory. Im very happy how this turned out.

I can verify that the 2003 rear set in my 2003 Tahoe LT fit perfectly in the rear of my 2005 Yukon Denali.
