Hey guys

I have a quick question……

So I bought a Yukon rear “name plate” (the body molding that is above the license plate) so that I could get rid of the bowtie on my tahoe and to my dismay, it is not for a car with a rear camera. There is an indention where it would need to be cut but my question is, if I cut out the square hole and use all of the components from my tahoe, will it work??

It looks like it should work but I just wanted to ask to see if you guys have any answers for me.

ALSO:
Any tips on how to remove it? I know that I have to remove the inside rear panel to get to it, but if you guys have any tips, that would be helpful thanks!!!!

Haha dude its an applique not a name plate, I read it and was a bit confused!!
I say you just ket a body shop do it, I did mine by myslef and it took forever becuase the dam bolts just spin spin spin, instead of loosen!
The whole camera thing is not an issue, just cut a small new one!

haha sorry, i know that it is called an applique, i just thought that a lot of people probably dont know that so i gave a brief description. sorry if it was confusing, i was just trying to see if the applique w/out rear camera will work if you just cut a hole in it where the camera goes and then put all of the components from my tahoe applique.

thanks for letting me know that it will work.

i guess i will pay a body shop to do it....unless someone chimes in with a good explanation on an EASY way to do it.

i have to get it painted anyway....and i am going to paint my grill all black, and my side mirrors all black, so maybe i will do it all at the same time and have them do the install of the applique.
