Rear LED backup not working

Tried to install these tonight on 2007 suburban for reverse bulb . Would not turn on. I tried turning around and jiggling, but still nothing. Does it just need electric grease?

try bending the little metal contacts on the bulbs out a little so they are for sure making contact in the socket, you can also bend the socket tabs out a little as well so everything is a nice tight fit.

Reverse lights are actually 7441 (single filament).

The 3157 is a dual filament bulb although it should still function in the single filament socket.

"A" behind the 3157 would denote an Amber color.

He could probably bend the appropriate wires at the bottom of the CK bulb to make contact with the non-CK socket and get them to work but the best thing to do would be to send them back and get the appropriate bulbs.

A (single filament) 7440, 7441, 3156 should work.

A (dual filament) 7443, 3157 should also work but would be a waste as you don't need the dual filament (dim/bright).

Just be sure to get a NON-CK style bulb.
