Has anyone had the problem of accidentally turning on the rear wiper? Since it is integrated with the turn signal on my 2011 Yukon, I often find the rear wiper on in dry weather and must have hit it accidentally. I hope GM changes that control to a twist knob like the front wipers.

I have noticed the same thing. Especially at night when I can't see the labels and forget what position is off on the switch.

I did a few times when the truck was new. But only because I was used to the cruise control in that spot from my previous tahoe

I haven't yet, but it hasn't rained here since I bought my truck..lol

I work in the aircraft industry, and have seen some complicated controls. Hell I used to fix F14 control sticks...but when I first looked at that multi-function lever in my 'Burb, I said 'WTF?' Haha.

Why am I not surprised by your response?

Half of those switches and knobs in the Tahoe don't mean diddly-squat to me without pulling out the Owner's Manual. I'm continually pressing a button this way and it does just the opposite of what I would expect it to do. Or I press something or turn it just to see what it does since the dumb-asses at General Motors don't think that printing English words on stuff is an intelligent way to do things. :Insane:

Or it's scientifically proven that symbols are more quickly recognizable than words. Also, the majority of the symbols in cars are the same regardless of manufacturer, thus you'll see them in your Ford too. Got the same complaint about your Ford? Ford uses symbols instead of words too. In fact, that's an industry standard for all cars sold in the US, regardless of country of origin. I guess every car manufacturer is a ”dumbass.” I guess you should ride a bike. Wait, nope. Gear selectors have symbols too. Looks like you're stuck walking.
