Rear door latch not working at times

RT/rear door will not open from outside at times. My guess it needs the latch module unless there's a fix? Can anyone share link to procedure for replacing?

I had to replace the exterior handle one year and the latch another. Super easy to replace both(if that’s what it is!). Good 1AAuto videos on replacing it.

And here’s the door with the panel removed...

The toughest part of the job is starting to remove the panel. Once you get the first clip then it goes easily enough.
