Hi,

I have been searching on the internet for some info on these rims. My moms 2007 Tahoe LTZ was recently totaled in the latest storm on the East Coast, and she said I could have the rims to sell and make a profit. Could someone give me any information on these and what they might be worth? As I been searching on the internet, I havent been able to see anything about them, and any pictures. The part number is 88967768.

They are fully chrome and indeed awesome looking. I will be selling them and as soon as I find the value, they will be up for purchase. They also will be coming with practically brand new Bridgestone tires.

The most you are getting for those is $1100 shipped.

I would imagine more considering the tires are practically new (Like 60 miles, max) and that the rims seem to be in very good condition + go for alot more new.

You can ask whatever you want and may get it but he is just telling you what they are selling for. New price means absolutely nothing so you might as well forget what it is.

Good luck!

I just bought a pair of stock chrome wheels from a 2008 Silverado. They are 17", but I only paid $175 for all 4, and they also retail at the dealer for $400 each.

No one is going to pay new price (or very close to it) for used rims and tires. They tires may have only 60 miles, but if you price them close to new people will go ahead and buy new.

They were free to you, so don't get greedy and be stuck with a set of tires and wheels for the next several months.

Check out Craigslist and price them appropriately.

Or overprice them and hold them for months. Doesn't matter to me.

For 1500 most people would not buy stock style. My aftermarket come in close to that point. Also, there would be no warranty on the tires or any way to get it. Just my .02

I'll try lowering them then, thanks for the advice everyone. Hopefully should be able to get rid of these soon.

e: lowered to 1100.

Lucas,

You should put these up for sale on DC Craigslist for $1250 with good pictures and a good description and they should sell pretty quickly. If the chrome is in good shape, with new tires, caps, and tpms, that is actually a fair price for this area. I regularly see regular LTZ 20s in not great shape go for $1000-$1100 around here.

Good luck, they are nice rims ... and the upshot as opposed to the regular LTZ five spokers is that these accept oem GMC and Caddy center caps.

They are located near Edgewater, Maryland.

I think shipping costs and my maximum bid will squash any hopes of you and I making a deal, although they would look nice on my '07 for sure. I think you have a fair price and a good chance of selling locally without any shipping hassles. GLWS

Oh well, thanks though. They sure did look good on my moms Tahoe, damn shame it got smashed by a tree.

They are now listed on craigslist.

I'm allowing people to know that they are for sale but due to rules I cannot allow a link to the sale. They will need to PM if you if they want to buy from you.

Thanks :Handshake:

Are those the plastic wheel covers? I have seen several GMT900's that have these 20" "chome-clad" wheels. They are just plastic wheel covers. Just curious.

Not really "wheel covers" per say but also not real chrome rims either. The "chrome clad" does come off and behind it is a steel wheel. It's held on by some sort of adhesive. I've seen people take it off and the powder coat the steel wheel.
