It looks like the second plate is designed to put some preload into the mount to firm things up.

Interestingly, the Summit page on this mount says due to the firmer mount, it may cause more vibration to transfer to the body.

yea the few installs i saw of it looks like it just allows for a little bit of angle. the stock mount looks like it would move about an inch if you let it. i've already got the poly motor mounts so not so worried about more vibes

More junk, not broken yet.
Best packaging in the biz.

Got another 4 gallons of dex6, grabbed some of those upf48 oil filters, yall had my worried the pf48e was going to ruin my engine. The wix xp filters I was using would prob work but they're sposed to be for thin syn fluid.

That's what I do for a living, work at a packaging place that makes foam parts or enclosures that protect stuff. We make similar triangle foam blocks like that

Nice, circle d packs these up with prob 3" of that foam at the bottom the triangles on 4 corners and then another 3" on top. Never had any issue with shipping over the 3 or 4 that have gone back n forth

flushed out the radiator oil cooler and oil cooler lines with some brake cleaner/air/brake cleaner/air and threw it all back on. swapped in the upf filter. truck had been sitting a few weeks figured more of the oil would be back in the pan, prob lost 1/2 a qt between taking off the cooler block and filter lol so that was nice to see.

still no word on trans, been busy the only time i think to call them is late hours or the couple days a week theyre off. when theyre done atleast i know they ship it fast (usually 2-3 days to get here). just sucks, this time of the year is the "race season" down here before it goes back to being 90* at night for the rest of the year
