So I use to have the 6.2 withthe cool quad tips, Looking on the threads … guys have added this changing out the bottom skirt and adding the tips.

Here’s my question has anyone thought of how, done or tried to do the quad tips
On the DMax?

I know there are
Exhaust kits out there for the 3.0 on the Silverado’s, even withe the dual exits.
My thought is changing out the skirt, going to my muffler shop guy and have him use what he can out of say the MBR Silverado kit and add the tips.

Thoughts? Idea on what it my sound like ?

I’m I LOCO

For looks, could probably be done but it won't change the sound much. No muffler on the 3.0. By the time the exhaust gets through the turbo, DPF, EGR system and the cat there's not much sound left.

Thanks Pro299, Im gonna look into it and see what size it has and what the aftermarket offers.. Im assuming 3"?

Wasn't hoping to change the sound, so that works, haven't had a chance to look underneath.

This one has 4" tips/3" pipe , haven't really heard about the brand tho

I’m going to add quad tips when I finally take delivery on my 23 Denali Duramax.
I had my exhaust guy do a quad tip setup on my Silverado Trail Boss. Definitely go with 4in tips.

Sweet!, love that look

Picked up the rear lower trim piece, ordered some CF MRBP dual tips, 4”, now need to find a local shop to help with the fabrication. It looks like the Borla or Corsa dual exhaust set up should work minus the muffler… expensive route tho.

I’ll post pictures as I work thru it

Not that I’m aware of they make em for
The Silverado, if anything it may help free up some back pressure,

Same as a banks or MRBP, I would think

Here ya go!

Went with the Borla dual exit, CB FINISH for the 6.2.. muffler shop basically used the back end, its a straight shot from there to the DPF. They did have todo minor mods around spare tire. All other was left along. Very happy with it, no change in exhaust sound that I can tell.

Cheers!
