Now that winter time has come I’m needing to defrost the windows in the morning. and the truck barely wants to warm up at all with the radiator upgrade I changed the thermostat for a 187* factory spec and it’s barely warm at all. I’m thinking I need electric fans to keep the truck at temp at idle if I sit a really long time without the heater on it starts climbing to the desired temperature but it’s only 55* outside when picture was taken and I took it on atleast 10 minutes of highway is this just how it is with the aftermarket radiator? It’s making me late for work when I would normally have plenty of time I’ll update tomorrow if it warms up in time it’s gonna be high 30’s at 6 am tomorrow and it’s struggling now.

Sounds like the new thermostat might be bad.
That's certainly possible.
There's another one, though.
Three hoses connect to the radiator, yes? That small one is connected to a tube that is supposed to have a restriction in it.

If you make a temporary PARTIAL restriction with (say) a ziptie, and that's all it takes to raise the temp even a little bit,
someone else here will (hopefully) explain what needs to be inserted into that 3rd orifice.

Pretend its a diesel and block part of the radiator with cardboard or something fir the winter
I’m even thinking about plugging it in or something on those lines last year during winter I was leaking coolant bad enough to where I just filled it up with hot water

Because I have a body lift i already have a partial air ducting block the duct tape helps keeps the air in but not enough

I’m at the point of adding a ball valve to restrict the flow into the radiator until it hits temp then popping it open

Once the thermostat opens up it gets to temp pretty good but it doesn’t get warm for a damn even at this temp the air is 60 something at best I’m thinking my heater core isn’t flowing properly allowing the recirculating air to heat it up and yes the blend door works as it should

As @Marky Dissod stated, some model years had a specific restriction in the top hose hole (the one to the reservoir) in the stock radiator. You may want to confirm that your truck is in one of those model years.

Folks here have made their own restrictions, if needed, when using an aftermarket radiator. If I recall correctly, one member used a spent shell casing as the restrictor item, and it worked great.

The lil finger-sized rubber hose you're staring at in the foreground of the pic with the squeeze clamp.
PARTIALLY pinch it, preferably in a way that can be easily undone. (Ziptie? Bet someone else will come up with a better way.)

As @Joseph Garcia stated, someone manged to wedge a spent shell casing into the tube that connects to that hose which fixed the issue.
I imagine there must be some way to adjust/control the flow through that hose ...

@Tozan did the .45 shell casing, shown here:
