I want to add a sizeable power inverter to my 07 Denali XL. I had one in my old truck, but it was a weak dog, i want to say it was 300w??? It couldnt even power a tiny laptop.

I want one that will run a PS3, and possibly a blender. Outside of calculating wattages, and current draw by adding up the electronics I may run, does anyone have one they can recommend? And where I might install it? I was considering under the seats, but with kids using the electronic seat release, and crawling all over, I don't want to have it get trampeled. The old truck was an Excursion with bench seats, so it wasn't a problem.

Thanks in advance!

I had a 1500w Ralley (sp?) i mounted upside down under my passenger seat. I used an 8ga wiring kit to supply power and a starter solenoid to turn it off/on. Worked great and never had any issues with feet or whatever. The only thing i wanted to change was maybe take an extension cord, plug it in to the inverter and with it to a regular house outlet that id retro fit in the center console. But thats all your call. Anyway hope this helps
