5.3-Stock 4l60 died at 160k- believe it broke the sunshell on 1-2 shift
5.3 tuned with Jasper reman with no tq mgt 70k miles-1 fluid change
6.0/cam added to same trans with 26-2800 stall went 30k miles before pump let go
6.0/4l85- 3k stall- running for about 15k miles no tq mgt- no sweat
These trucks should have came stock with 80e. So much stronger trans. I'm running a transgo HD kit in mine. It dual feeds it and helps it hold gears better.
