Hey two quick questions for anyone interested in helping...

1 how hard is it to fit this unit into my 97' 2 door console?

And

2 I've upgraded front speakers to Polks and rear to 6x9 Pioneer...will this head unit push the 4 speakers adequately to eliminate the need for a 4 channel amp? My plan is this head with a JL audio center stealth box 10" sub. (just 1 amp)

Any thoughts or recommendations ? ( this is not my specialty area)

Thank you all

6x9s are in rear stock position. Pioneer is a bit shallow-er than others. Only slight dremel was needed.

Thanks sunlit. I like that templet. Just sucks that it doesn't look stock.

What about keeping stock head unit and adding a 4 way amp? Will that work? Sound good?

So my plan is ... JL audio stealth box / mono amp ( not sure on power?) / 4 way amp (power?) and keep stock head unit.

Thoughts?

Btw fronts are 6.5 polks rear pioneer 6x9

Has anyone seen this piece of work? Nice ride! I'd like to do a sub in the back just like this one. Anyone know where I can buy one? I have no clue how to make something like that but it's very clean looking

I went single din and added modules in the glove box and put a 5-way under pass seat and dual subs under rear seat. I am happy.

It had better have a stroker and still to much money I think.

Looks good sunlit. Can you recommend a good 5 way? I've heard they aren't as reliable as doing 4 way and a mono? I'd like to just do one under pass seat too.

(btw...noticed your pics... You a pilot?)

Yes, that rig is way over priced! I'd go 13-14$k but that's a lot of cash seeing as a bank will only give like 8$k MAX for a 2 door hoe!

Unemployed aircraft mechanic. I use the Kenwood Excelon XR-5S with no regrets. 80wx4 + 375wx1 continuous. Very small footprint. Can get it for $300. A picture of it is in my album. It drive polk 6.5" componenents in all doors and two Polk MM1040 subs.
