+1. And it's about a 20 minute job in the driveway with a cheap socket set to replace it.Its integral to the valve cover.

I'm at 230k and never even thought of it. OP had me questioning mine LOL+1. And it's about a 20 minute job in the driveway with a cheap socket set to replace it.
What makes you think it needs replacing? I've seen people go 300K on these or more and never change it.
I'm looking at replacing my pcv valve is it pressed in so i need a valve cover also or what should i do
I have 290,000 on it and i just replaced the oil pressure switch and the filter under it. So i am contemplating the pcv valve idea. only as a back yard mechanic so to say.+1. And it's about a 20 minute job in the driveway with a cheap socket set to replace it.

This ^^^There is no valve. It's a fixed orifice. Since you're on this track, what you SHOULD be looking at is if your driver side valve cover is the updated one designed to reduce oil consumption. Unfortunately, other than having knowledge or documentation that it was updated, you'll have to remove the cover to see. It's not a difficult nor lengthy task, though. It is quite the worthy upgrade to have. While you're getting your hands dirty in the PCV system, install a catch can.
Thank you! I’ll look into this more for my 2014 Tahoe. My other thought is to remove the AFM entirely. Going thru removing the AFM on my 14 Caprice now.you might be interested in this GM Technical Service Bulletin too:

Um, don't mean to intrude on a GMT900 discussion, but many years ago,
I put a 12572717 PCV 'whistle' on his 94 LT1, and it reduced my oil consumption to 0.5Qt after 5000 miles.
My L59 also has its 12572717, but jumping ahead a bit, can my L59 make use of either of these
2007-08 = GM pt# 12570427
2009-2011 = GM pt# 12642655
valvecovers? If not how do I know which valvecovers are most current for my old@$$ engine?
Got rid of my PCV rattler 2 weeks after I bought my Z71; replaced the rattle with a 12572717 PCV 'whistle' / orifice, but I've literally no clue which valvecovers I have. Referring to the 12572717 as a PCV whistle because now, when my engine idles, it whistles a lil bit. Seriously.
ANYWAY
I can install 12570427 on my '02?
