Amen to that.me personally, I'd be leaning more towards that 02 if everything checked out on it.
Sorry about your current one tho. Vehicles are replaceable, you on the other hand are not so glad you are okay.

Yeah it seems like a good deal. And it's the closest one I've seen so far
I mean it's only a 5.treeAnd thanks for the support everyone. I've already begun the search for the replacement for it and I would like to get some input on some that I find so I'll be posting links to some vehicles that I find

We sure doI like that first one for the price, fewer miles and because private seller. If I were in your position, I'd pull the powertrain out of the wrecked one, fog the cylinders, seal it off, plastic wrap it and strap it to a pallet as a backup for the new one. Of course, pull all the custom and stock parts you wanna keep. Maybe part out some interior doo-dads, miscellaneous parts (including bolts) on the forum. Them salty people up north love clean OEM suspension hardware.
Any pics or details you can share? My dad is going to look at one he found on FB Marketplace that's soooo much nicer than the one I was contemplating. And it's the same price, just had a repaint, and has had the interior completely redone
2002, 200k miles, 4X4, custom black and gray interior, needs EBCM replaced because the ABS and e-brake lights are on. Aftermarket wheels, recent repaint to this really nice gray. And they're asking $4000. I'll ask my dad for some picturesAny pics or details you can share?
Very inspirational man. I'm pretty sure that if my dad does go look at that one tonight he'll ask if he can take it to the shop to put it on the lift and get a good look at it. I have to work tonight, so if he does go look at it then he is going to bring it to where I work so I can look at it as well@Onebad1983 , Hey friend! Haven’t been on in a while so I’m just getting caught up in your thread! Sorry to hear about your truck man! I’ve been there! As everyone has said vehicles are replaceable and people are not! But it hurts when you’ve put so much work and soul into your vehicle to make it yours and then you lose it! I’ve been there! But I’m glad you’re ok!!
Here’s what I learned from my hunting experience when I was looking for the right GMT800 suv. Take your time and find the one that has what you want. It’s out there you just have to be willing to look and know how to look for what you want. I had been researching and looking at GMs for sale for close to 6 months, and I joined TYF a month before I even bought my Denali because the family I live with suggested I look into GM because they knew how much I liked their esky and the other Denali SUVs in their family. A member here told me that distance should not limit my decision in which truck I buy. Because there are so many of these SUVs out there, that a little travel could be worth my patience and time and money in finding the right truck for me. And he was right! I ended up being my truck a GMC dealer in Orange County, near the beach, which is a two hour drive from where I love in the mountains. Fortunately I have family in that area so I know it well and traveling for me is easy. But it was worth my patience and the travel because 5 years later I still own the truck and love it.
So take your time and be patient in your search if you decide you want to stay in a gm full size. And like everyone else has said do your homework on it and look at the truck from every angle. When I bought mine, before I even went in to meet the sales people inside, I found my truck on the lot. I could tell it had been worked for a while which was good. So I crawled around underneath it, right there in the dealership parking lot, and did a full walk around before I even had to keys to open it up and start it up.
Let us know how it goes once he checks it out. I hope it works out for you. Keeping my fingers crossed for ya buddyVery inspirational man.
