OMG my HID's had a problem

I got my ddm 8k kit low beams installed friday. I hit a bump earlier and my driver side beam went out completely. So since I only had one head light. I turned them off and turned them back on and they both came on. I toggled my switch on and off a few times and they both stay on now. It hasn't happened again. Has this happened to anyone? What could have caused it?? It went out when I hit this huge detroit michigan pothole. I hope it doesn't go out again

Check you wiring and make sure nothing is loose. And for future reference, don't toggle them on and off, ballasts don't like that.

Haks I got a question. I heard rumors that the ddm wiring harness can give you the 4 HI mod. But I have a kit for my low beams with the harness but no 4 hi. Mod. What would I have to do to get 4hi? do I have to buy the actual 4hi wire harness or if I get a ddm kit with for the high beams with a harness, would that give me the mod?

So you have a wiring harness installed now but it doesn't give you the 4Hi mod?

Correct. I don't have the 4hi mod. So maybe the shop that I had install my kit did something wrong! Hhhmmmm Maybe I need to take a look in there and see if the harness is there. I'm pretty sure I saw it when I checked it out after they got done with it. Am I supposed to have 4 hi from that harness?

Okay, so the harness just connects your low beams to run off of the battery.
See, my wiring harness has both the lows and highs running of the battery.....or so I think, I have to take a look at it.
