So a week ago today, while driving home from work, my wife ran off the small 2 lane road near our house. She was driving my 03 yukon and looked down because one of the drinks in the holder was about to fall over. She looked up and was just off the road. Unfortunately, just off the road in this case was an eight foot ditch bank. It hit at an angle at the bottom and rolled onto the roof. Fortunately she is ok with not even a scratch. The yukon is gone however. To ease my pain, I decided to replace it with this 07 z71.

Glad she's ok and the new ride looks awesome! Is that the stock interior on the '07?

I have seen the brown/black 2tone, grey/black 2tone (as i have), and in one instance from someone on this forum a purple/black 2tone stock interiors for the 07's (maybe 08's had 2 tone as well?)

anyway nice whip, beware the seemingly inevitable dash crack!

I've been reading on here about the dash crack. That got me to looking at all the dashes on the tahoes/yukons i was looking at. I didnt see any with a cracked dash. I would prefer not to have a cracked dash but i'm sure if it happens it would be something i wouldnt mind getting used to

I think the issue is hit and miss. I've never had the dash crack issue on mine

Thanks! The interior is what actually sold me on this one. I was looking at a couple of the LTZs, but this one just appealed to me more.

A guy at the salvage yard there had a nbs tahoe and asked about the rack and rear vents so I sold them to him. I knew I didnt want to go back to that look anytime soon and if I ever did I would buy some in better shape. The drivers side got bent up a little.

The only things I have planned for right not (we all know how that changes) is a resonator delete and possibly a magnaflow, autocal, and lots of paint correction

Crappy cell phone pics, but you can get the idea. Started work on the paint yesterday evening. It was scratched and swirled bad. I'm no expert at detailing but it is looking a lot better now.
