If you'll Gorilla-glue a piece of sander belt on the inside of that band wrench, you'll never have a filter you can't get loose. No slip guaranteed!

K&N HP2011 = AC Delco PF63 = Mobil One M1-212

Thanks for posting that Randy, forgot all about those and looks like that would work best on these LS motors. I can buy that and go back to PF63s.

I just replaced my Napa gold filter and just realized it was a long filter, maybe 2 inches longer than a standard Wix filter. I had already put oil in it when I put them side by side..ugh..
