Oil cooler lines leak?

Man I replaced both oil cooler lines and they are still leaking on the driver side of my 1997 Yukon GT. I also replaced the pressure power steering hose what could this be?

stormingn now but repalced both lines and power steering. But still leaks more so today too

I think adapter plate now though all the symptoms are clear.

Is it leaking motor oil, Trans fluid or power steering fluid?

tranny fluid is not on the left side of engine only, oil and ps fluid.

True but if he is going by drops on the ground could be trans on driver side had it run down the bumper and valance when I had the motor rebuilt they did not tighten the cooler lines back tight. It depended on the way it was sitting where it ended up

It was oil on the cooling line so I thought it was the lines so I replaced both

Oil was going low though so it is oil

Did you put the o-rings on the hoses when you replaced them and are they seated good in the fitting?

no o rings they did not come with

Just to make sure we are taking the same thing. You replaced the 2 hoses that run into the radiator?

OK I am pretty sure that there should have been o-rings to go on the connections. Sunlit would probably know for sure whether they should have them.

there were no o rings to go in front of the lines

there are orings used on each line where the lines enter the radiator and there should be internal orings on the fittings where the rear portion of the lines snap into the quick disconnect. the ones in front are available individually for a $1 or 2 each from a dealer and those should have bee included with the lines. the one in the back the whole fitting must be replaced. those are about $8-10 each gm 15043741.

4wd version shown. only difference between the 2wd should be the adapter orientation.

No have to take my bros yukon off the lift. New engine install will keep you posted. sorry its is so slow
