Alright. I saw a nice 07 suburban last night with a 5000k hid kit. Damn it looked good. I on the other hand gave a 07 Yukon. They said they bought there kit off of eBay and the company started with a z. I checked eBay last night and found a listing for some by zagg, I think. Anyways I checked our forums and found ddm. I know the yukons are bi-xenon. They said that they have had there kit for a year now with no problems. Which kit do you guys roll with. I love the 5000k output. I've had Acura in the past and really miss the hids. The ddm kit runs 60 and thts with the bi-xenon. The zagg kit on eBay runs 88.00.

Alot of guys on here have the ddm kits. I dont have them on my Tahoe but I've heard some good things about them. Make sure you get a relay when you order your HID's so you dont have any problems later on.

Yeah I just called a local custom shop here and they said they had some for mine. He suggested going with the single hid and not the bi. He said they had the kits for $95. Not too bad. I forgot to ask him what brand they were but I have to call him Monday anyways to verify the price and when he can get the kit. He said they may have to disable the drl which is not a problem with me anyways. I loved the look of the 5000k I saw last night.

If you a re talking about just putting an HID bulb in to replace a stock one with no ballast then ya thats a NO NO. IMO it looks bad.

That is what I figured, but wanted to make sure. You can also buy just better headlight bulbs from Autozone or Advanced auto, anyone have any experiance with those?

I was just looking on the DDM website and it really doesn't specify what we need for our trucks. I have an 07 Tahoe. Can anyone tell me the bulb type?

ok i called the local custom shop yesterday. The kit was $95 and would take a week to come in. Labor runs between $60-100 depending on what they have to remove. Is this something I could do myself and save money?
