New Speakers

I have heard people say by adding new speakers in their Escalades it makes it sound better on the factory Bose system. Has anyone done it and is it worth adding new speakers? Can you add a factory amp and still use the factory head unit also?

If you have Bose, changing speakers 'may' be more of an issue. Because the Bose is setup to run as a system. If you want to replace the Bose speakers, and add an aftermarket amp, its fairly simple, and a huge upgrade.(in sound)
