How is it going everyone,

Been browsing here for awhile but finally trying to post and join the community; I recently bought a 2005 chevy tahoe ls. I love the nbs generation and obs.. but while looking for my next car in the last few months I landed on this tahoe that was in as near mint condition as possible. no tears or damage in the seats, no paint scratches or dents in the dash, headliner is mint, no rust/body damage, and it was bone stock when I bought it.
My hoe will be a daily driver so I am not putting huge miles on my adventure rig. I mostly intend on a two inch leveling kit and a tow truck vibe as I intend to eventually get a snowmobile in the when I strike it rich future.

My truck came factory with the G80 and the 4.10 gear ratio; I intend to get an exhaust that makes me happy but not loud enough that I destroy my 4l60e. I hope to luck into a donor 4l80e at some point but for now I will keep my mods n build to suspension, brakes, and style.

Pictures include my hoe next to my Cherokee just before i tore off the plastic fender flairs. Second photo is my tribute to my old gmc sierra

Looks good. Welcome. Post up some interior shots. Does it have the towing package since it came with 4.10's?

Welcome from Miami Beach!

Nice find on your mint condition 2005 Tahoe! Your previous Sierra looks good also. Plenty of the Cherokee in my neck of the woods.

Those are the interior shots on hand. Basic interior but no tears or stains is a nice plus. Third row seat option but I have removed them because we'll.. they are useless...

It does have the tow package however, outside very light trailers I will wait until I put some miles on it before I feel comfortable testing out that tow package living in the mountains.

My old sierra was a beat up ugly truck but ran like a champ. If it had been 4x4 I would still own it.

Either way, I can't wait to get some nicer wheels and an exhaust on the Tahoe; got the updated headlights coming in soon. Going to try out the blacked out look on the metallic paint

Interior looks great. Mine is similar, I added a center console. I much prefer the basic interior over the fancy add ins that'll eventually break or stop working. You got a nice one!

I agree, I don't particularly like leather seats. I also prefer the lack of center console; I wouldn't be upset with the upgraded console but I am happy with the interior. The lack of subwoofer box in the back is the only fancy feature I am sad to not have.
I bought it with around 160k miles

I think I have an OE sub box from an '00-'02 that would tuck into that back corner on the driver's side. Would send for the cost of the ride.

EDIT: GM 15766432 with mounting screws. Would look very much like the one in this old post: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/thr...nclosure-gm-part-15766432.126071/post-1562234

PM me if interested. I should really post it to the For Sale forum.

Cool dude! Hit me up if you mod anything... Fyi I turned down leveling kit in mine, configured for a 1" drop... Drives MUCH better now. I. Not a big fan of leveling for that reason. Love how you can lift the new Tahoe at push of a button. Unfortunately, not sure how to do that on a tosion bar setup like we have though.

I use mine as an off-road rig. Is a beast, esp now with 6.0L in it.

As far as exhaust look into Gibson. They have come highly recommended to me by a guy that built sand rails for Baja race in Mexico. He drove a Tahoe he moded for his everyday car. All the mods he suggested so far were killer awesome.

Welcome to the forum. Nice find. I purposely, when I bought my Tahoe, did not want the leather interior. Lived in Florida at the time and knew I was transferring to Southern Texas. Nice looking Tahoe.
