And yes, the rear 2" lowering kit is already purchased from Tony and will be installed in a week. Screaming for a drop...

Thanks! I love em' -- can't wait to get that back end level. I'm not a big wheel kinda guy but 24's seem spot on with these suv's... especially the long wheel bases (XL, ESV, Suburban). And my goal with these specific rims was to avoid them seeming really "after market" looking if that makes sense.

Anyways, your answers:

Yes, 10" wide wheels

+30 offset

Yes, a tiny bit of rubbing. But literally only at full steering wheel crank. Easy enough to be sensitive about that and prevent it.

I can't imagine running on 24s...my oem 22s were like rocks and even the oem 20s i'm running now are pretty harsh. unless you're coming from a 10-15yr old vehicle, these trucks ride like crap with 20s or larger, imo.

ajs800, good point. There is no doubt huge sidewalls (like on a set of 17" wheels) will produce a softer ride.

My running sneakers are also way softer than my leather dress shoes. But they probably wouldn't look so great when I'm wearing a nice suit.

Ha, true. However I wouldn't consider my yukon a suit unless I drove it to a car show a few Times a week and it stayed parked most of the day. With driving it daily and racking up 20k+miles per Year, i picture khakis, button down with casual leathers or sneakers. :waytogo:

I felt the same way about going with bigger wheels. I was pretty scared that my truck was gonna ride and handle like total crap going from 17s to 20s. I pulled the trigger and grabbed a set of NNBS denali 20s in the fall for super cheap on CL, but still after that wasn't sold on mounting them. Haha. Waited til we were done with snow, and then even when I was getting them mounted I wasn't sure I wanted to. but my ride hasn't changed at all and I have No regrets going to 20s on my nbs Denali. Haha. But I'm also running michelin tires so I think that helps my ride quality big time.

yeah, I had 20s on our 07 tahoe and bumped up to the 20s on our 09 burb and actually preferred the larger wheel. I am commenting based on the 15+ trucks and having already had the oem 22s for a few months before down sizing. These new trucks have a much harsher ride then previous designs.

Yeah I gotcha. I haven't ridden in a denali or burb on 22s, but my best friends parents have a 15 esky esv on oem 22s and it rides pretty sweet. Can't imagine 24s though like you said.
