need help. on road trip overheating

Replaced the thermostat but haven't driven a long enough distance to see. All electrical connections are tight and battery terminalsbarent corroded.

Also while I was on the road I did check fluids. I haven't changed tyranny fluid since I've had the truck hut fluid is still red and doesn't smell burnt and oil I changed less than 3000 miles ago continuing with full sun.

There was one thing I was wondering about but I'll have to take a picture of it cause I forget how to explain it but under the engine cover (plastic vortex thing) there's an electrical connector type thing with aplastic clamp that looks like its spose to hold it down tight but the bbolt seems tight and the connector doesn't. I'll take a picture tmrw but its under the cover at the front passenger side of the engine
