Need Help if frame can be fixed

Basically can it be fixed or replaced or is it to far gone???...it only looks black because of Rust-Oleum on there, we had just got the truck and I got spare tire off to find this

2008 I’d bag it. Time to move on with that rust not worth the fix IMO.

I have seen worse...

That said, is it worth fixing? NO! Its a nearly 20 year old truck, with repairs that are more than the value of the truck.

The only thing anybody will say is the cross member is gone and that they won't touch it we took it to three different places and they all say the same thing nobody's even looked at the frame tested the frame or nothing

I'd crawl under and tap on it with a hammer and screwdriver.
Chip off and poke holes wherever you can, and see if any frame sections or suspension mounts look dangerous.
Wire brush and paint if ok..

Wear goggles!

From what I know, a lot of shops don't want to touch rust because they usually get burned on rust repair. If you don't do it the right way, it'll come back and it's a liability for the shop.

As somebody who also has a rig that is getting rusty, I think I would like to hear more about the truck before I give any more thoughts...

How many miles? Does it need any other work like engine or transmission work? What's your intended use with the truck? Did you spray the rustoleum on there or did the last owner?

I did the spray after I took a rubber mallet to knock on and a regular hammer all sounded good except for spare tire cross members...vehicle is a family vehicle and my 3 year old son loves it so I go to work and daycare that's it
