Got the lab results in. Everything is ok and it still shows signs that the engine is still in a break in period. :)

Suggest that you request TBN and TAN to assess the viability of the oil.

Is that 6000 miles on first oil still?
No the first oil change was at 800 miles. I change the oil at 5000 intervals when possible. This change was at a 5200 mile interval. I'll be changing the filter every 2500 miles to help keep the oil cleaner.

If I ran the oil longer than every 5k I would consider it but I want to see what the oil looks like at 11000 with a filter change at 8500. If it is super dirty like the 6000 oil change I might start changing the oil every 4000.

Color or opacity of oil is not a true indicator of oil viability. Total Base Number (TBN) and Total Acid Number (TAN) are. Blackstone offers TBN and TAN to hobbyists. Polaris does it for pros.

Oils is cheap. I'll just replace it :)

Also, color has zero to do with its effectiveness. Most modern oils have high TBN well past 10K miles, even though we are sure we have to change them early....
that is not the issue, the partials floating around will sand blast the seals and aluminum block(if equipped) that is the issue rather then the oil it self...

that is how my engine does not burn oil

ZERO it had an oil change every 4k miles it currently has 106k miles it does burn a little with AFM
though... currently disabled i suggest changing the filter every 3,000 miles if you want to reuse the old oil

mobil1 filters last me tell about 4,500 miles before it stops filtering

How do you know it has stopped filtering?
