After several weeks of finding the right color combo and a dealer that was willing to reach my price point, I finally closed the deal this morning. It only has 6 miles on it. I had to wait 2 hours for the dealer to swap out the lower front chin spoiler since this one already had a scratch and dent in it.

I drove about an hour 30 minutes home and was very impressed with how smooth and quiet these new SUVs are. The front massage seats are a nice touch. The amount of flake in this paint is incredible. Pictures don't do it justice.

Specs:

Exterior: Dark Granite Metallic
Interior: jet black

Installed options: power steps, wheels locks and all weather mats.

Upcoming Mods:

1. Tint front windows
2. Level rear end

nice truck, looking for a premium (the platinum interior just seems to nice to hold up moving kids/dogs) in grey/black for my wife, with running boards and a bench.......I haven't seen a caddy with a bench at any dealer yet.

Best of luck! With all the cabs/livery etc trucks here in NYC I had to say no to black (my tahoe, sub, 2 vettes, ctsv are all black, I obviously think all caddys should be black too.) but that grey really got my attention its such a nice rich color in person....

Thanks everyone! I spent a lot of last night thinking about what to do with the tails (they are the only thing I don't like on the escalade). The tails have grown on me over time but I still feel like they stick out like a sore thumb.

I've been considering at least lightly smoking them or after finding a few YouTube videos where people have swapped oem escalade tails onto a suburban, I might consider going to yukon Denali tails and appliques if they function properly. (I think that would make it look cleaner).

I say have a body shop do a clean tape line and paint the top of the light to match the truck.

I would leave them as they are.
Nothing sticks out MORE, or looks more cheesy than someone altering the stock look.

I like them........but I don't like the amber turn signals, been quite some time since there's been amber on the ass of a caddy.

ps nice sig...I'm dying to find a nice 65-67 to drop the 502 out of the tahoe into and make a ton of noise with and throw some flame throwers on.

I'll admit they have grown on me from when I first saw them. They aren't bad on the darker colors since they flow better. On the lighter colors they stand out way to too much.

I'm going to see if a local shop can put a light smoke tint film over then to see if that helps a little. That was its easily removable.
