Glad the Esky worked out for you. It is nice to see a forum member buying from another forum member. This way you know the vehicle was maintained and the owner is completely honest.

Hey Jeff, you’re back! Sounds like it just needs minor work? Steering stabilizer- you mean a shock-like thing that attaches to the rack? Did the Esky come with one stock? I know the Yukon’s and Tahoe’s didn’t.

Great to see you on again Jeff. Post up some pics. Wish I could've bought that Caddy. What seats does your donor Grand Am have?

Will get pics when We pick it up from shop.
It's a nice Caddy! Sure, some minor things to fix but a great example of a 2000!
I like the looks. For a 2000? I think it was far ahead of it's time for style!
One of those that just don't age.
Seats in the Grand Am GT are whatever came in them. It is considered the Grand Am GT1
All that means is it has a SunRoof I guess.

That's just what the Wife told me.
Not sure what actually needed fixed until I talk to my Mechanic.
I just tell her to take it to him if it acts weird. I'm more into the Opel GT and getting the stuff for that.
As an example I wanted really good front control arm bushings for the Opel.
Now I could have bought Poly bushings but!
I bought Delrin AF rod to turn my own on the lathe.

Many think poly is the best upgrade for for areas such as the control arms and such.
Not always true! Maybe as a simple 'Buy it and be cool' But there is a performance and longevity trade off.
Poly is best for simple street exchange for the stock rubber stuff.
Delrin AF? Self lubed with PTFE then properly lubed and fitted is the best way for max performance and life.

Yeah, there’s a few manufacturers like Spohn with Delrin bushings available.
