Motor mount easier with front suspension removed?

I'm replacing the front struts and springs in my awd Escalade and am wondering if the motor mount is easier to do once the strut and spring assembly is removed?

Gonna say prolly, reach your hands right thru, but i never had to do mine so maybe there is something i dont know
