more LEDs

so I'm gettin the rest of my interior leds soon, and i got a few minor questions

1) the front map lights are the front screw, i know that much, the rears, they use the screw where the dome light is correct?

and 2) the damn license plate lights. i cant figure it out. i looked at em.. do i have to take my hitch off? tell me it aint so...

For the license plate just go under your truck and look behind your bumper, i just did mine the other day and it looks AWESOME. Ill post a pic once it gets dark

1) Yes

2) Go under your truck and you will see the wires going to the license plate. The sockets just screw in and out.


Only thing that sucks is that if you bought forward pointing LEDs they will not be as bright because the socket housing and lenses sit at 90­° degrees. So the the LED will be pointing at the housing and not directly outside the lens.

I am running LEDs that fire at 90­° degrees so they shoot right out the lens.

ahh shit. oh well. they should be bright enough. if not i'll fab some shit up. i got the foward facing 6led ones. same ones im using in the map lights, so it was just easier to order 8. lol
