Thanks for helping me lear something new! Would that cable be best left with the Yukon donor, if the Tahoe never had that capability? I would think he wouldn't be able to use it on the Tahoe, right? It's the EPM (Electric Power Management) systemView attachment 372110

I didn't think they did either. Thought it started in 2007Thank you! I never knew the later year 800's had something like this.
That contraption isnt on my 2005 Yukon Denali.Just doing a quick Google-fu shows that the system (EPM and RVC) started with 2005 model year
OK, maybe it was a mid year thing? That contraption isnt on my 2005 Yukon Denali.
The image shows a battery current sensor, which is a type of control module typically found on the negative battery cable in a vehicle's battery management system, especially in Start/Stop vehicles that are not hybrids or electric.I've seen these a few times and wondered; "what is this?" It's on the negative battery cable on an 06 Yukon that I harvested the E-fan harness and relay/fuse block from recently. My 04 Tahoe does not have this.
Thanks
