It's nice and can even bleed the ABS solenoids. But, at that price you may as well spend ~$50 more and get a Tech2 and be able to do just about anything and everything. Something like that Innova would be good if you had non-GM vehicles, though.

Me and my friend wanted to go halfzies on the OBD link mx+ HAHAHA. As he has an Infiniti M45. Or I get the chinese one just for myself

Hai guys,

Does AFM work (V4 mode) when I am cruising at highway speeds (100mph). Or its in v8 mode after a certain speed.

To provide maximum fuel economy under light load driving conditions, the engine control module (ECM) will command the cylinder deactivation system ON to deactivate engine cylinders 1, 7, 6, and 4, switching to a V4 mode. The engine will operate on 8 cylinders, or V8 mode, during engine starting, engine idling, and medium to heavy throttle applications.

Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) and the conditions listed below determine when cylinder deactivation is enabled.

Engine has been running for greater than 30 s

Engine speed is between 700 and 2800rpm

Engine oil pressure is between 187–455 kPa (27–66 psi)

Engine coolant temperature is between 40–129°C (100–264°F)

Engine oil temperature is between 16–128°C (61–263°F)

Throttle angle is 6% or less

Ignition voltage is greater than 11 V

Transmission is not in first, second, or reverse gear

Vehicle speed is greater than 25 kph (15.5 mph)

Brake booster pressure is greater than 42.0 kPa (6 psi)

Vehicle is not in fuel shut of mode

Vehicle is not in heater performance mode

Vehicle is not in tip in bump acceleration mode

Vehicle is not in oil aeration mode

Vehicle is not in low range (if equipped)

Cylinder deactivation may be inhibited for many reasons including the following:

Engine coolant temperature out of range for cylinder activation

Engine vacuum out of range

Brake booster vacuum out of range

Transmission gear incorrect or shift in progress

Accelerator pedal out of range or rate of pedal application to fast

Engine oil pressure and temperature out of range

Engine speed out of range

Vehicle speed out of range

Minimum time in V8 mode not met

Maximum V4 mode time exceeded

Decel fuel cutoff is active

Reduced engine power is active

Torque management is active

Catalytic converter over temperature protection is active

Piston protection is active, knock detected

Cylinder deactivation solenoid driver circuit faults

Hai guys,

I wanted to change the spark plug wires on my tahoe. Does this improve anything?
Wanted to know before I bought them.
Heard something like low resistance and shorter cable does increase some performance. Also some different high performance spark plugs.

Thanks in advance
(all you guys are really helpful)

They're the same as gimmicky spark plugs- you have nothing to gain by switching away from stock or stock-replacement. Go with ACDelco, GM Performance Parts or Taylor if you want pretty colors.

Hai guys,

I saw this DIY cold air intake tube ( MIT ) from the throttle body to the stock air box. Did any of you guys do somethings like this? It doesn't look that great but looks like it does the job. It would be cool if someone could help me make one. As I cant make the one I saw on YouTube as 60 degree elbows aren't available in this country. Also I think the Throttle body is bigger 90 or 100mm.

It would be a great help if someone could give me some ideas.

This looks nice

Hai,

Can someone help me find a cheap intake tube for my tahoe. I can't find anything online except the airaid one which costs double for me to get it here in U.A.E. Something aftermarket so I can use the tube. I want to make one by myself but finding it hard as I cant get street 90 elbows (one side male one side female) here which is kind of weird (checked in lots of plumbing shops).

Thanks guys

Hai guys,

Its been a while as I had sold my beloved tahoe due to unemplyoment. I am planning to buy a 2009 cadillac escalade EXT. I want to convert it from awd to 4wd. Has someone done that?
The eski costs 7k and has more than 150k miles on it.

Thanks
