Well I finally have some good progress going on some of my personal projects and figured I would try to keep up with a thread. Well I picked up an 03 Suburban LT out of Texas about 4 years ago and had it shipped up to Michigan. It was 100% stock. Put a set of 22's on it and started collecting parts.

I then did a bunch of color matching and found a nice set of 24's and a 3/5 drop with helper bags in the rear to still haul great.

Then as all my projects I had to tear apart a perfectly good daily to take it to the next level. Front is a full custom setup as well as the rear. Its going to be a pretty trick daily once its done. Here's a rendering from eco as well...

It will be receiving an HD hood as soon as I can locate one. Well heres where its at currently...

And the Chevelle some ****** decided to take the whole side of it... Guess that color isnt bright enough to gain attention..

Hey thanks, Haggerty insurance has been great to deal with and the car will be even better when done. Its a good piece of mind knowing that at least something good came from this misfortune. The burb is just gonna be a nice clean daily... even for the winters when snow is not on the main roads.

Very nice vehicles

Thanks, I sorta collect them.... theres more ha. I need a nice daily like yours though

Well its winter in Michigan so no rush on the chevelle...funny that the chevelle is the most minor of my winter projects. Little bit of sheetmetal worlk and paint. The rest involve complete builds

suspension pics on the burb?????

I need to get some, almost done in front just need to pick up some balljoints and mod the steering. Narrowed the track width by 1" on each side. Flipped upper control arms raised 3 3/4". Modded lowers till I make a custom set of uppers and lowers. Rear is just notch now, still have to make the link setup. Going to build a 3 link with lowers moved back from factory location so they dont hang down and upper wishbone setup so i can keep the factory tank.

I didn't plan on a build thread but the other thread was my first attempt at pics and I kinda ****** it so I figured I would just start my own. I was very glad didn't get hit ti the point of totaling the car, would have been alot of work for me. Insurance gave 14k before paint for repair so I was fortunet on that side as well.

For sure bud. Rendering just needs an HD hood and not exactly sure what I'm doing with the inserts but its pretty spot on. Would be great to have one to hang up then work on the sonoma ha. Any inspiration is good inspiration.

This daily could be yours :driver:

Prolly not for whats in my budget, but if the girls comes with it I could work some deal ha.

Now that's a drop! Nice Burb

thanks its coming, not real sure on the amount of drop though... alil more than the 3/5 it had ha

Eco PM me some prices...

Got the rear cut out to the maximum needed for my plans... can only go forward from here. Have to order up some link ends, build the link setup and then frame and sheetmetal the whole rear section. Be easier to post pics than to explain whats going to be going on here ha. Many compartments for the audio, air ride and misc tools and such will be in this hole so I'll have a clean flat floor with nothing in the way to haul shit.

And the hole is bigger than it looks... Almost 5 feet long by over 6 feet wide. Remember its a Suburban...
