I wish I would have known about these gaskets the last couple times since I've dealt with minor leaks even after being very careful in the past.

Scraping old gaskets and RTV off takes the most time. The lubelocker gaskets require no RTV.

So far no leaks with the new gasket, but the real test will be towing on 1000+ mile round trips.

Yup I was all set to do that and even had one picked out. Money is a bit tight so in the end I couldn't justify the cost. Maybe next time! ;)

Drill and tap your own drain plug lol

Interesting to see that the red bands do not go on the insides of the bolt holes too.
What was the part number for the rear diff?

I saw those when I installed my girdle but it was about $30 so I passed and used a Permatex cheapo which also required no sealant. No leaks so far.
