Thanks T.

The upshot of using the 2" drop with the one inch spacers, is that if one wants to ever level out they can just pull the spacers.

NorCal how does the rear setup you quoted above match with the oem front shock/spring setup? Same as stock drive quality?

Do you have a 1" front 2" rear setup quote handy as well?

Danke.

what size tires do you have on the truck right now?
what does front measure from ground to fendelrip?
what does rear measure from ground to fenderlip?

Tell me that and I can tell you exactly since the hybrids use different springs than stock in front ie on a 285 45 22 iirc on the one I did stock height was like 35.5 from ground to fenderlip.

tony was gracious enough to take a late call - much appreciated.

it looks like i'll be going with his recommendation:

-belltech front struts matched with stock springs (set to same height as stock)
-belltech rear struts + 2" lowering spring + 1" spacer (1" lower than stock)

iirc he tells me that the hybrid models have the same setup as a base tahoe expect that they use a 1" shorter spring up front, thus the bigger rake.
