Just got done lowering my 2013 Tahoe 2wd, used belltech 2" drop spindle and lowering strut. Replaced the upper control arm, lower ball joint and outter tie rods while lowering. Now the front left tire is out past the fender, is it possible that the alignment might fix it or could it be something to do with any of the other parts that were replaced? Seeing if anyone experienced this or might have some other ideas. Thanks for any possible help.

My passenger tire sticks out more than the driver side. Stock, 08 avalanche. I didn't notice it until I put k2xx 22s with the offset that slightly pushes the wheel out more than the stock ltz 20s

Spindles and struts really throw off the alignment, especially the struts. How low did you go with them? The new tie rod ends will affect it as well. It's likely just something that will be corrected with an alignment, but can you post up a pic showing how bad it is?

I was thinking it could be just all the new stuff at once also, went 2" spindle, the one for 3" or more drop and the rings on strut for around the 1 1/2" but might take one more out, I wanted just a little lower. I was going to double check things hopefully tomorrow and take some measurements side to side and see if I get differences. Thanks for the feedback.

Oh. I thought you meant it was leaning out, like positive camber. That looks like the whole thing is located further out. It's either that or the passenger side is cambered in a lot.

Get your drop where you want it and have it aligned, then reassess. I have spindles and struts with the struts set to maximum drop (2") except for 1/4" (I think- maybe 1/2") ring on the driver side since that side was lower to begin with. I did the Belltech upper control arm alignment cams. I did my own alignment and I didn't pay attention if I was still within the factory adjustment range or if I was in the added adjustment range from the BT cams. My point is, you might need a little more alignment adjustment at a 4" drop. Your alignment shop will let you know if the upper control arm(s) is/are maxed out.

Ok thanks, yes the whole wheel is out the same top and bottom almost like the spindle is wider or something. I could see if it was just the top since the upper control arm was replaced and that's where the adjusters are. I'll do a little more checking and get it setting where I want it and see about getting it aligned and go from there. Thanks again.

Both front tires on my 08, 13, and now sold 12 all stick out passed the fender with K2 and T1 wheels. I've seen others talk about this on here before. I've also seen people talk about getting 5mm spacers for the rear so it looks better.

Thanks, I'll have to check into that. But if it was the rims wouldn't they both be out the same?
