If you get a chance, could you measure the clearance between the trailing arm and the ground? LOOKS like about 2".

I only want a 2/3 drop. Will this result in the trailing arm being higher off the ground than what you have in your setup?
Is that your truck in your avatar pic? If so, where are full pics of it in the '21+ section?!

It is!! it's the only pic I have currently. I want to get it lowered before posting pics. Weather is ****** here, so it's going to need a detail too. Where is everyone posting pics?

Wherever you want! Start a new thread in General, or post a pic in the “black wheels” thread in Exterior, or put one in any thread about roof racks… JUST POST SOME PICS!

I don't remember the exact measurement but it was a little bit over 2". The arm will sit a little bit higher if you do not go that low but not by much.

The lower control arms will change a little bit, but they only go up and down with height changes on the differential side…at the tires they stay the same height (unless you change tire size).

Hi all,

Dropped off the rig at one of the local shops to add the Belltech lowering kit (1105SP) as well as switch out the OEM exhaust for the Borla Cat-Back Exhaust/Touring with black tips (Part# 140854BC). Only lowered it about 2 inches (back and front) and the exhaust sounds sweet. Also added a Console Shield Cover (with black knob) as a nice clean look to the interior.

How's the drive with the Belltech struts? I'm coming from a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with a tight/firm suspension and the softness and body roll of the Tahoe is killing me. Putting it in Sport mode improves it a bit, but I need more.
